How Can You Prevent False
Alarms?
Check your system regularly. Routine maintenance can help prevent many false alarms. Your dealer has several cost effective Maintenance Plans to choose from.
Notify your dealer immediately if you think your system is not working properly.
Make sure everyone who uses your security system understands how it works with correct keypad code and proper security pass code if alarm should be accidentally activated.
Be sure to contact your dealer when you hire new employees, hire domestic help, get an inside pet, if you are going to be away for a few days, are going to test your system, or are planning on selling your home. Always notify your dealer if you are planning to remodel, change phone systems, phone numbers, fumigating or installing anything next to the control panel or keypads.
A lot of times, upgrading your older infrared sensors with new dual-tech sensors will solve false alarms.
